This is introductory material to the Ethical Decision-making Model and the Code of Ethical Conduct for Prevention Professionals. The course is designed for participants who are motivated to learn and apply an ethical decision making model and code of ethical conduct to their work in the substance abuse prevention and/or related fields. A printed certificate will be provided onsite after the workshop to those that complete the total hours, and who have paid the fee.

Prevention Specialist Certification: Getting Ready to Test

    • Wednesday, September 14 | 4:45 – 6:15 pm

This workshop will prepare exam candidates and professionals with successful test taking techniques, review the IC&RC prevention specialist domains, review the process for filling out the state board application forms, as well as provide an opportunity to network with colleagues. Materials will be provided that the students can take with them to aid in studying for the exam. Additional materials will be suggested that can be purchased at a later date. A printed certificate will be provided onsite after the workshop to those that complete the total hours, and who have paid the fee.
